Fayette had began to miss her mother horribly. She didn't understand why her mother left in the first place. But now that Darian had returned, a man that looked after her during the start of her life, she found herself to be more at home with him around. She had become busy with clients for a week or so but afterward her and Darian were able to talk, although it seemed like she did most of the speaking. She didn't notice at first but it was really great for her to be able to talk with someone, Her mother gone for almost three years, and being a companion it was her that always listened to others. Some times it was so easy for her to talk to Darian, she would forget he had also been trained as a companion. If he ever did any talking it was just about her from when she was just oh so little. He would talk about the things she would get into or how cute she was. He seemed to have really adored her. And that seemed strange enough that a young man like him would even want to tend to a baby.

Then They Met

A man stopped at the curtain, kneeled down and bowed then lightly gave a knock on the door frame and waited until he could enter.
The lady inside looked up and slightly through the curtain "You may come in." She said softly.
The man from outside rised and took a couple of steps in then kneeled back down and bowed showing respect to those inside.
The young woman lowered her head then looked up at the man "Can I help you Sir?" She smiled softly and slowly moved her hand over a seat.
He rised as he looks up then paused "Oh, my apologies. I came to see Companion Aeon and was directed to this building, but I must have taken a wrong turn." He bowed his head then went to take a step back through the curtain to leave.
The woman smiled as she looks him over "I am a Companion Aeon." She took a step forward and nodded carefully and slow "What did you need Sir?"
In a slight confusion the man paused looking the lady over respectfully then smiled "Again my mistake, I came to see Companion Christine Aeon. I was not aware that there was two Companion Aeons." He bowed his head "Would she be available for me to speak to her. I am an old friend" He inquired.
She wiggled her nose then wiped it with her hand taking a little dirt from it before looking at the stranger and shook her head no. She lowered her head just enough to be noticed "Im sorry Sir, my mother is not available at the moment, She is on another planet. Is there something I can help you with?"
He watched as Companion Aeon wiped some dirt from her nose and in the process spears some of it. Then he began to bow his head when the realization of what she has just said set in "Your mother?" He asked startled and looks the ladies face over again taking in her features. "Your mother is Companion Christine Aeon?"
She nodded quickly with a smile. She got a bit excited thinking about her mother and how she missed her. Then she took a deep breath and slid her hands down her dress to make sure it was still proper "Yes Sir, you said you were an old friend of hers?"
He blinks and opens his mouth to answer as he lets his eyes run down over Companion Aeons figure then back up again. "Oh my, then you have got to be Fayette!"
The young ladies eyes went slightly wide then she relaxed to seem more cool and calm "You could have learned my name from anyone.... Was there something I could help you with?"
He laughed then remembered his manners and quiets himself "My Appoligize Companion Fayette Aeon but I do know you. Or I should say I knew you but you may not remember me, You were..." He looked her over again his eyes taking in the young lady before him as his memories brought up old images of a snot nosed little toddler in play komono's and pigtails running around between his feet and getting into his stuff, "barely four years old the last time I saw you."
She looked down at her hands as she barely remembers that time in her life but she does remember. Unlike her teachings to look at her hands she closed her eyes for a moment and took in a full deep breath into her chest then slowly released it through her nose and smiled 'So you do know me, you look older now then in the pictures my mother has shown me. Of course you were younger then, then i am now" She held her hands out to the seats again and raised a brow before smiling as she took a seat.
He moved over and took a seat facing the door, then smiled "So you remember me... Oh how rude," He bowed his head "I am Darian Manamiko." He stiffles a laugh "But if memory serves me right you couldn't say my name and always called me Darn"
Fayette softly blushed and a small giggle came through her smile "Darian... nice to see you again I guess" She nodded then giggled remembering how he looked in her mothers photographs. "So you still haven't told me what your doing here or what I can help you with"
Darian smiled seeing the little girl he remembered in her face then looked out the door as he remembered what has gone on over the past few months of his life. "Well" he pauses "I sort of need your mothers help with something private"
She gave a nod then shrugged and smiled "Well your going to have to deal with my help if its that important. My mother wont be back for a long while. So you either get my help or you can look some where else"
Darian couldn't help but laugh loud and strong at Fayette's tone as he pictured a little girl stomping her foot and crossing her arms as she demanded some of his carrot cake or a sip of his soda. "Well I am not sure if I ....." He paused not knowing how to continue with what he needed to ask.
Fayette looked around to make sure its just the two of them then leaned forward, proping her elbow up on the table and resting her chin in the palm of her hand looking over at Darian "Yanno I don't have all day mister... you said you needed help and my mother has raised me and taught me well, now did you wanna talk about it or wait for however long for my mother to return?" She sighed but kept her chin on her hand giving a slanted smile.
He chuckled softly giving his head a slight shake in disbelief at how much of Christine he sees in Fayette. "I need help," He said taking a deep breath and letting it out as he thought to himself that he doesn't have time to wait and if he can't trust her then he was as good as screwed. He looked around to see that no one was close enough to hear then leaned forward as he pulled a small ring from his pocket and laid it on the table "Your mother gave me this. She said it was her way of saying she owed me a debt for helping her one time. I need to cash it in. " He paused and looked to the floor as he wondered how he ever let himself get to this point "I have people after me and I need to disappear. I need to make sure no one ever see's my face again or I am a dead man and quiet possibly alot of people I care about." He said letting the words fall from his lips.
Fayette sat up and looked down at the ring. It looked familiar, but she was sure it was just one of those things where you think its something but it isn't. She took the ring into her hands and let her fingers play with it. She kept looking at it, "So What do you need from us?" She looked up at him willing to help, her mother always told her of how she trained him, how he looked after her. Faye shook her head thinking about something her mom said.
Darian looked to Fayette "First I need to stay here a little while with out anyone knowing I am here. I cant use the name Darian or any other name that anyone has ever known me by. Its to dangerous. Then" he looked down then into her eyes hoping she will see the seriousness of the situation "The companion guild has the best plastic surgreons in the 'verse and also the most descret in the understanding of 'privacy' . I ... I need to hire the services of them to change my appearance so that no one can ever recognize me" He said feeling ashamed of having to ask such a thing and suddenly realizing that doing so has just endangered her.
The young lady gave a nod "Okay.." she said with no problems "I can get you a room nobody uses and I will set you up with our staff to change your looks" She nodded again thinking about what her mother said then slid the ring onto her index finger of her right hand. She sat there for a moment thinking then nodded once more "So you will be staying here tonight then I take it?"
He just blinked stunned "That's it? No questions? No concerns? Just Okay, lets do it." He sat stunned then looked to Fayette "I am sorry and I am not being rude or ungrateful but I dont understand why your so willing to help me. What I ask is obviously and plainly illegal and you know I am on the run, So why in the 'verse are you so quick to help me?"
Fayette giggled and nodded understanding the confusion "My mother has actually been gone for two years now, almost three. She left shortly after my 20th birthday. She said one day you would be back, I didn't believe her but here you are. It was like she knew something would happen and you would return. So the only task she left me to do was..." She looked down and twirled the ring around her finger "I was asked to help you with whatever you needed." She shruged then smiled "I am not sure if she knew you were going to be on the run, but I am sure she would help you if you were here, and I am not going to let her down" She sat up straight and tall then gave a firm nod "So Im going to help, and nobody should suspect anything from me so you should be safe here."
He smiled and chuckled "Yah your your mothers daughter all right and your the lilttle squirt I remember just...." He looked her over again "well All grown up"
She giggled "Well I had to sometime" she thought then started doing something that seemed like counting on her fingers looking up once in a while thinking.
He grined and relaxed for the first time in a long time "Are you available this evening or do you have a client you have to see?"
She moved her eyes down, and her hands stopped moving "Uh, well I do not have any clients tonight..."
Darian blushed realizing how it had sounded like he was trying to contract her "Oh no no no... I meant that if you were free this evening I would like to have dinner or sit and talk with you. Its been what...?" he paused and tried to figure out how long its been since he last saw Fayette "Wow" he put a hand to his face "over 18 years"
She breathed in deeply then released it says "Ohhh..." she smiled "Yeah I am sure I can make something to eat and some tea while you get settled in your room tonight. What kind of tea would you like ... should i call you something else if you do not want others to know your name?"
He smiled "What ever you prepare will be great and as for a name I really have no clue what to use or even who to say I am." He paused and thought suddenly, realizing that he has been running on instinct for so long that he is exhausted mentally.
She gave a nod and placed her hand on her chin "hmm... okay...no...no...no.. ahhh!" She raises her finger and smiles "Okay i have a name. Something totally not near...*she leand in and whspered with a smile* Darian." She whispered in a slight joking manner to hide his name. She sat back up "We can call you... uh clark... just don't keep that name" She laughed knowing she liked his real name better. He was perplexed " Clark?"
Darian stopped and thought it over "Okay not sure why you picked Clark but I guess it works" Then he leaned over to Faye "But you are welcome to call me Darn haha"
The young lady covered her face with her hand hiding her red cheeks "Okay come on, that was what did you say 18 years ago? I am a lady now, sir." She smiled "You got that Darn" Then she giggled and smiled more and brightly.
Darian smirked and looked at her raising his eyebrown with a laugh behind his smile " Yah I got it haha and as a lady you might want to wipe that grease and dirt of your nose and cheek there" He said pointing to her nose with a rye smile.
Fayette eeped and pulled a tissue from her pocket quickly wiping off her nose and cheek frantically "You didnt see that!" He held his sides and laughs not remembering when he laughed so good "Oh I didnt did I Fayfay?" He asked calling her by the nickname he used to have for her. The young woman narrowed her eyes and looked at him with her arms folded then raised her right eyebrow "You want my help or not...Clark?" She said in a tone slightly poking fun at him and trying not to smile. He nodded " Okay Okay you have me at a disadvantage here. I will behave "
Darian laughed then looked around "Can I ask, Is there a place I could get a nice relaxing bath, All I have had is recycled showers in my ship for the last two weeks as I came here."
She gave a nod and looked at both ends of the room "This might be a small area but we have two baths you may use... and please clean up after yourself. I am not your mother" She laughed and started twirling the ring around her finger again.
Darian raised with a laugh and bowed then walked towards one of the baths turning back to Faye "and Fayette....Thanks" then leaned down and gave her a kiss on the top of the head where she sat as he used to do when she was just a toddler. He turned and walked into the next room and bagan to disrobe.
She slowly stood quietly as she could and tip toed over to the area where Darian was bathing. She placed her soft fingers on the room divier edge and peeked her head around at Darian. A smile grew on her face then she accidentally dropped the ring onto the wooden floor. She quickly stood up and hide behind the divider hoping Darian didnt see her. Her heart was pounding so fast and her breathing was so heavy she was sure all of the town could hear it.
He hung his cloths on the pegs on the wall and turned to climb into the bathtub when a sound close by caught his attention. He glanced that way with his eyes, training keeping him from looking with his head so as to not let the person behind the noice know that he is aware of them. He spotted Fayette ducking back behind the divider and had to stiffle a smile then steped up into the bath and lowered down into the water.

Childhood and Growing up
Fayette Aeon was born a blond haired, yellow eyed, pale beauty and raise on the planet Londinium with her mother in the companion house that she ran. Fayette had always been raised around companions and when she was old enough she entered into the guild because it was the only life she knew and her mother so hoped she would follow in her footsteps.
Guild life was interesting as she took classes to learn different subjects. She studied a few languages, dancing (one subject she loved and excelled in), and even studied fencing and a few defense classes. She had so many things to learn as a compaion to follow in her mother's foot steps... Fayette never in her heart really wanted to be a compaion, she loved fixing things in her spare time, or when ever she thought she could fit it in.
Back shortly before she was even born, her mother took in someone else under her wing to personally train as a companion. It was a young man, she couldn't remember his name but she was always fond of him. Her mother took him in when he was 16 years old, and some of Fayette's earliest memories was of him as he helped raise her and look after her. The young man was pale, with dark hair and intreging blue eyes. He looked skinny but healthy and seemed so ready to learn, her mother told her. Fayette was always around him, getting into his things, running around him trying to play with him as much as she could.
In a companion house one doesn't usually find childern as young as her and since he had always been around to help care for her she saw him as her best friend. Then shortly after her 4th birthday he left. She didn't understand it but with time she wasn't as sad any more but she didn't forget him. One day she was going through some things and found some pictures , her mother explained who he was and how he had come to be a student of hers. Since then she had always kept the pictures but she wasnt sure why, they just felt important to her.
When Fayette was 20 years old her mother left to go to another planet, she wasn't competely sure why but her mother assured her that one day it would make sense. And left her with one duty she should carry out if it ever came to be.
This is the story of Fayettes Aeon life after she honored her mothers request and how it changed her life.
